Founded in 1996, by Rene Dechert and Rick Marose, and later purchased in 2010 by Military Veterans Chef Randy Sheppard and Danny Ham, The Peacock Tea Room is an Open-air, Rustic, English-style tea room located inside the Georgia Renaissance Festival fairgrounds, next to the King's Hall Stage. 

 

We offer a full tea service which includes, but not limited to: 50 different Blended Teas, our famous Scotch Eggs, an assortment of Tea Sandwiches, Fruit,  Cheeses, Fondue, "Sheppard's" Pie, Guinness Meat Pie, Desserts and other delicious scratch made items. The menu is all homemade recipes, even down to the Devonshire style cream for your scones!

We have also been featured on local WSB Channel 2's website and our Chef was a guest on "Atlanta & Company" on channel 11! The Restaurant is only open when the Festival is in season, our Online Store is open in the Faire's off season to quench all those tantalizing tea cravings!
